The testing laboratory of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsOK AIC" in the Republic of Tatarstan has successfully completed the procedure for confirming competence and expanding the scope of accreditation to 149 methods for 693 indicators in the field of quality, safety, seed production and plant quarantine.
The laboratory's compliance with the necessary requirements was confirmed by the Order of the Federal Accreditation Service (Rosaccreditation) dated July 7, 2025 No. PK1RA-384.
The Rosaccreditation expert group assessed the impartiality and competence of the employees, the material and technical base of the laboratory, the provision of the necessary regulatory documents and the quality management system. This allows laboratory specialists to perform a wider range of tasks on product safety and quality control, compliance with export requirements and phytosanitary inspection of quarantine facilities, noted Tatyana Menlikieva, Director of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsOK AIC" in the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the results of the expert review, the main increase (for 315 active substances) was noted in the field of research to determine the amount of residual pesticide content in products. Thus, the total number of studied indicators of residual pesticides in the branch reached 453.
The scope of accreditation in the field of plant quarantine has been expanded by 240 indicators (103 methods), and currently the laboratory is accredited for 208 quarantine objects out of 249 included in the Unified List of Quarantine Objects approved by the decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union dated 30.11.2016 No. 158.
In addition, the scope of accreditation in the field of GMOs has been expanded by 79 indicators (24 methods), in the study of seeds of agricultural plants by 8 indicators (7 methods), in the field of product quality research by 39 indicators (9 methods), by 1 indicator for toxic elements and by 2 indicators in the field of dendrochronological examination or tree age examination.
It should be noted that during the competence confirmation procedure, the compliance of the testing laboratory with the Accreditation Criteria approved by the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia dated October 26, 2020 No. 707 and GOST ISO / IEC 17025-2019 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" was confirmed both in the approved area of accreditation and submitted for expansion.
On the official website of Rosaccreditation, information on the confirmation of the laboratory's compliance is published in the register of persons under number No. RA.RU.21PS18.
