Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the coordination commission for the development of agro-technological education in general education institutions, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the event.

“This year, a new National Project for Ensuring Technological Leadership “Technological Support for Food Security” is being implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan. It includes the federal project “Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex”, the implementation of which will increase the share of young specialists in the Agro-Industrial Complex to 35 years of age, build a modern model of specialized education, providing for in-depth study of specialized subjects and close cooperation between the employer, school, secondary vocational education and universities,” Marat Zyabbarov noted.

As part of the implementation of the federal project, it is planned to open agro-technological classes in 20 rural schools of the Republic of Tatarstan. The list of schools was approved today by the Coordination Commission, which was formed to make decisions regarding the development of agro-technological education in the Republic of Tatarstan. It serves as a mechanism for interaction between government bodies, ensuring coordination of actions in implementing measures to organize agro-technological classes.

The meeting participants also discussed issues related to the roadmap for the development of agro-technological classes, equipping them with equipment and determining target indicators for the implementation of the project in the republic, and advanced training courses for teachers of agro-technological classes.
