Tatarstan has started harvesting grain crops
Farms in the Buinsky, Spassky and Alekseevsky districts have started trial threshing of winter wheat. It is planned to start harvesting winter crops en masse as they ripen.
This year, grain harvesting areas in Tatarstan amount to 1 million 276 thousand hectares. In addition, winter rapeseed is in the ripening stage, the area of which this year amounts to 16 thousand hectares.
Last week, commission acceptances of the grain harvesting complex of agricultural formations took place. The readiness of grain harvesters, motor vehicles, grain farms and units for autumn tillage was accepted. The commissions noted the high readiness of the harvesting complex in the farms of Aktanyshsky, Arsky, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zainsky, Kaibitsky, Tyulyachinsky, Tukaevsky, Tetyushsky districts.
In order to inspect the readiness of the material and technical base of the grain processing points and elevators for the procurement of grain for the 2025 harvest, the Ministry and the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsOK AIC" in the Republic of Tatarstan organized field trips from June 16 to July 4. Most of the enterprises showed a high degree of readiness. In total, there are 38 elevators, with a total one-time storage capacity of 2.4 million tons of grain.
