Today, as part of the international agro-industrial exhibition "Agrovolga - 2025", a round table "Promising directions of agrotourism in the region and development of agricultural consumer cooperation" was held.
The round table was held with the aim of identifying and discussing promising directions for the development of agrotourism in rural areas, developing recommendations for stimulating the development of this industry in the region, as well as establishing partnerships between stakeholders for the joint implementation of projects in the field of agrotourism.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov spoke about the development of agricultural consumer cooperation in the republic.
There are 2.6 thousand farms and 401 thousand private subsidiary farms in the Republic of Tatarstan. Last year, they produced 42% of the gross agricultural output of the republic - 142 billion rubles.
He reported that in 2025, support for agricultural consumer cooperatives is planned in the amount of 415 million rubles, including 223 million rubles for subsidies under the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship". In 2025, a new national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" was launched. "The competitive selection has already taken place, funds have been transferred to 51 cooperatives," he noted.
Rustem Gainullov cited the example of the Barakat cooperative in the Aznakaevsky district, which processes 12 tons of milk daily and produces 15 types of products.
He noted rural tourism and leisure organization as promising areas of activity in rural areas. According to Rustem Gainullov, they are in demand in the republic and are engaged in by over 60 entrepreneurs. Of these, 12 received grants from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia for 99 million rubles, including 5 projects this year for 42 million rubles.
"In general, the direction of agrotourism in the republic is very promising, together with the State Committee for Tourism we will further develop and support it," he noted.
President of the Association of Farmers, Peasant Farmsteads and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamiyar Baitemirov spoke on the topic: "Prospects for the Development of Agritourism in Farms, Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives for the Development of Rural Territories."
Special attention was also paid to issues of promising areas of agrotourism, rural tourism with national flavor, agroecotourism and cooperative approaches to the development of cultural and educational tourism in rural areas.
