The Agrovolga-2025 exhibition was visited by over 13,000 people from 28 countries and 81 regions of Russia

Today, the official closing of the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition Agrovolga-2025 took place at the Kazan Expo IEC. Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in it. It brought together over 380 companies from 7 countries, including 18 companies from Iran and 12 companies from China. Over the course of three days, the exhibition was visited by over 13,000 people from 28 countries and 81 regions of Russia.

Every year, the exhibition confirms its status as one of the main platforms for open dialogue, exchange of experience, search for new solutions and business partners in the agro-industrial sector. Here, cooperations are born, strategic decisions are made and long-term development plans are made.

Lenar Garipov noted that two large-scale conferences were held as part of the business program: an international scientific conference on selection, plant growing and agrobiotechnology, organized by the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture of the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a specialized conference on forage production, held by the National Union of Milk Producers.

“These events set a professional agenda, bringing together scientists, farmers and experts to discuss the prospects for the development of the industry. I thank everyone for their contribution to the exhibition, for their interest, for their participation,” he noted.

The exhibition included the Republican competition “Beauty of Agrovolga”, the championship in professional driving on Belarus gas-powered tractors “MTZ-SHOW”, as well as the International Tournament in Trimming Cattle Hoofs and much more.

There were also round tables in the field of agricultural machinery and spare parts, plant growing, livestock farming, digitalization in support of the national project “Technological Support for Food Security”.

During Agrovolga-2025, cooperation agreements were signed, including today on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of collection, study, conservation and use of plant genetic resources between the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture of the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Northwest University of Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.
