The international agro-industrial exhibition "Agrovolga - 2025" has started in Tatarstan
Today, the international agro-industrial exhibition "Agrovolga - 2025" has started on the territory of the international exhibition center "Kazan Expo". This year, the exhibition is being held for the fifth time and brings together participants from 27 countries on an area of over 48 hectares.
The exhibition was inspected by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Director of the Department of Plant Growing, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Roman Nekrasov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan is one of the leaders in agricultural production in the country. "Based on the results of the past, we entered the top three leading regions in terms of agricultural production," the Rais of the Republic noted.
According to him, Tatarstan is a self-sufficient region in terms of basic food products. "Our farmers make a significant contribution to solving the tasks set by the country's leadership to ensure food security for Russia. It is gratifying that the volume of exports of agricultural products produced in the republic is growing every year," he noted.
"Agrovolga - 2025" is held from July 9 to 11. The exhibition brings together experimental demonstration fields, a large-scale exposition and a business program with the participation of more than 400 companies from different countries.
During the international agro-industrial exhibition, round tables will be held on the development of the melioration complex, dairy herd management, increasing farm profits through automation, crop production, livestock farming, digitalization and digital transformation, as well as investments in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Also today, the V Republican competition-breeding of cattle of the dairy productivity direction "KRASA AGROVOLGI" started. The competition has become annual and brought together 40 heifers and 36 first-calf heifers from 36 breeding farms of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The field exposition featured demonstrations of agricultural machinery and the republican championship in professional driving of gas-powered tractors "BELARUS" "MTZ-SHOW". The spectacular tractor show takes place on two tracks with obstacles and figure driving. More than 100 of the best machine operators from the Volga Federal District take part in the competition.
Tomorrow, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Yashin will report on the efficiency of using liquid fertilizers, and Rafael Fattakhov will inform about lean production in the machinery and tractor fleet.
