The delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov are on a working visit to Antalya, Turkey.
The day before, they visited the greenhouse complex of the Greenada Tarım Teknolojileri company. The vegetable growing organization was founded in 2007 and currently its range includes 170 types of products: vegetables, mini vegetables, fresh herbs, Aegean herbs, leafy greens, Mediterranean salads, ready-made salads, edible flowers and herbs in pots.
Today, at the Antalya Commodity Exchange, the Tatarstan delegation met with Ali Candir, Member of the Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. During the working meeting, the parties discussed the development of foreign economic relations and strengthening trade relations in the agro-industrial complex.
Then they visited the organized industrial zone, on the territory of which territorial-industrial associations are located, created for both large enterprises and smaller workshops and warehouses. In total, over 330 factories are located on the territory, and about 20% use solar energy systems.
On the territory of the organized industrial zone, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with the activities of large agro-industrial enterprises. Among them: the factory of the Cantek group of companies, the production lines of the Yörükoğlu Süt and Grow Fide Tarım companies.
There they examined modern technologies for the production of milk and dairy products, innovative approaches to the production of seedlings and modern greenhouse technologies, as well as crop production with LED lighting, vertical farming systems and highly efficient indoor growing methods.
Foreign economic relations are actively developing between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Turkey. According to the results of last year, trade turnover between Tatarstan and Turkey showed impressive growth, twofold, and amounted to 5.3 billion dollars. Pistachios, butter and almonds are exported from Turkey, Tatarstan supplies yeast, sunflower and safflower oils.
Mutually beneficial relations strengthen partnership and correspond to the goals of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
