The sowing campaign in Tatarstan has been completed. It was reported today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
The Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin held a meeting via videoconference with all municipal districts.
The districts have begun harvesting fodder and preparing grain harvesters for harvesting.
Marat Zyabbarov reported: the republic has calculated several options for changing the grain wedge. With a total need of 3.2 million tons of grain in 2024, 3.9 million tons of grain were harvested, with a yield of 28.2 c/ha. To provide these volumes, 1.2 million hectares of grain are sufficient; today the area is 1.3 million hectares.
This year, compared to 2024, grain crops decreased by 70 thousand hectares and amounted to 1,298 thousand hectares, industrial crops increased by 97 thousand hectares, including sunflower areas today amount to 298.7 thousand hectares, soybeans - 60.9 thousand hectares, oil flax - 56.4 thousand hectares.
Due to the revision of the structure of sown areas this year, we plan to receive additional profit from oilseed crops of more than 2 billion rubles in prices of 2024, said Marat Zyabbarov. He clarified that the profitability of production of crops such as sugar beets, sunflowers, rapeseed amounted to 12 to 40%, there is a guaranteed sales market both in the republic and in neighboring regions (Samara, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Saratov). And for these crops, prices are more stable.
The republic is preparing its machine fleet for the upcoming harvesting campaign. From June 30 to July 4, a commission acceptance of the readiness of the grain harvesting complex of agricultural formations is planned. As of June 10, the readiness of grain harvesters is 78%.
This year, farms purchased 15 combine machines, which is 20 machines less than in the same period last year. Farms that do not have the opportunity to purchase equipment and do not have their own combines are advised to conclude contracts with mechanical detachments in advance. (In 2024, 245 combines from other regions were attracted).
As for the procurement of high-quality forage, it is necessary to prepare at least 12 c.k. units per 1 conventional head from the first mowing. Today, in the republic we have 25 thousand tons of hay, 436 thousand tons of haylage. Per 1 conventional head, it is 3.1 centners of feed units, or 7.8% of the need, as the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reported.
It is necessary to mobilize all available forage harvesting equipment and complete the laying of the haylage trench within 3-4 days, Marat Zyabbarov continued.
The republic has also actively begun harvesting feed for personal subsidiary farms. To date, 114 thousand tons of hay have been harvested, or 20% of the need. Taking into account the carryover balance of 2024, the provision of personal subsidiary farms with feed is 36%. Today, personal farms in the Yelabuga, Bavlinsky, and Kukmorsky districts have already been fully provided with feed.
30 units of equipment are involved in hay harvesting in households. Home delivery of hay has been organized, the price per roll is 1,500 rubles.
However, they have not yet started harvesting forage for the needs of private household plots in 7 municipal districts (Aksubaevo, Aktanysh, Almetyevsk, Bugulma, Verkhniy Uslon, Pestretsy, Cheremshan).
While the weather is good, it is necessary to fully use each day to provide forage for private household plots, the minister emphasized, addressing the participants of the meeting.
