The opening of an additional professional advanced training program "International logistics and export of agricultural products" was held at the Kazan State Agrarian University. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov.
This program is designed for professional retraining of employees of economic, accounting, financial, marketing services, managers, logisticians of agricultural organizations, as well as members of peasant farms in the field of foreign economic activity and international trade in global agricultural markets.
As part of the program, participants will learn how to use modern management tools to effectively solve complex problems of agricultural business and apply the skills of effective marketing of agricultural products in domestic and foreign markets.
"As of November of this year, the volume of exports of agricultural products of the Republic of Tatarstan in current prices amounted to 364.2 million US dollars. "Agro-industrial complex products are exported by 258 participants in foreign economic activity with a geography of deliveries to 52 countries of the world," the Deputy Minister noted.
The Chairman of the Halal Standard Committee Abbyas Shlyaposhnikov touched upon the topic of prospects for the development of halal product exports.
In the first half of this year, the volume of halal product exports from Tatarstan amounted to 11 million US dollars. More than 20 companies in Tatarstan are engaged in the export of halal products. And the main consumers of these products from the Republic of Tatarstan are the countries of the Persian Gulf, the Customs Union and North Africa.
The Director of the Export Support Center Albina Gergert spoke about measures of state support for small business entities in the export of agricultural products.
