Rosselkhozbank and Skolkovo presented the results of the rating of innovation of the regions of the Russian Federation in the agro-industrial complex (AIC). The leaders were the Republic of Tatarstan, Novosibirsk and Moscow regions.

The rating of innovation of the regions of Russia in the AIC is published for the second year and is aimed at forming an objective assessment of the indicators affecting the innovation of the regions in the AIC and identifying the factors facilitating the growth of innovation in the industry.

The objectives of the innovation rating are: forming an objective assessment of the set of indicators affecting the innovation of the regions in the AIC and identifying the factors and barriers to facilitating the growth of innovation in the AIC.

The objectives include: identifying the best regional practices in the development and implementation of innovations in the AIC and assessing the degree of involvement of government bodies and organizations of the region in the process of mastering new technologies and support measures for innovative companies; facilitating the interregional exchange of best practices.

"The released rating stimulates the regions of our country to more actively implement new, advanced technologies, increases the level of attention of regional agro-industrial complex management bodies and industry enterprises to this issue.

As a support bank of the industry, Rosselkhozbank also sees its mission in stimulating work to improve production efficiency, actively implement digital technologies and other new solutions, despite the conservatism of agricultural workers. Judging by the reaction this year, we see that our mission is being successfully implemented: today the response from the regions is much greater and more active than last year".

The level of digitalization is increasing thanks to the national project "Digital Economy".
