In the Republic of Tatarstan, exports of oil and fat products increased by $16.1 million
As of the end of October 2024, the volume of exports of agricultural products of the Republic of Tatarstan in current prices amounted to $354.3 million, which is 77.4% of the planned value for 2024, with an increase of $8 million compared to the same period last year.
Agro-industrial products are exported by 258 participants in foreign economic activity with deliveries to 52 countries. In 2023, the actual volume of exports of Tatarstan agro-industrial complex products in current prices amounted to $457.6 million.
The main share of exports falls on the products of the oil and fat industry (70.7%), the leading enterprises of which are: JSC Kazan Fat Plant and Essen Production LLC.
To date, fat and oil products worth USD 250.6 million have been exported: sunflower oil worth USD 179.8 million; mayonnaise and other sauces USD 38.1 million; oilcakes USD 15.9 million; rapeseed oil USD 15.1 million.
In physical terms, the volume of shipped fat and oil products amounted to 342.3 thousand tons,with an increase of 45.8 thousand tons.
Fat and oil products are exported to the Middle East and Transcaucasia, Asia, and African countries. The target countries are China, India, Iran, and the Customs Union countries.
The export potential of the Republic of Tatarstan is growing thanks to the implementation of investment projects, including the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
