The final Field Day at the Agropolygon "Privolzhye" will be held on September 27, 2024 in the Privolzhsky District of the Samara Region.
The Agropolygon "Privolzhye" is the largest project of the Grain Soybean Union of the Volga Federal District, aimed at familiarizing agricultural producers with the results of testing varieties, plant protection and nutrition systems from Russian and foreign manufacturers.
The Agropolygon has an agro-scouting system that helps plot owners inspect them using drones and analyze the images obtained. The system will identify crops, their phenophase, density, presence of weeds, their species and quantity, and will also recommend ways to combat them.
One of the largest events of the 2024 agricultural season in the Volga Federal District is Field Day, where the Grain Soybean Union of the Volga Federal District announces the results of the Privolzhye Agropolygon.
More than 50 manufacturing companies are taking part in the event. The geography of varieties and hybrids covers territories from the south of Russia to the Far East.
At Field Day, the interim results of experiments with winter and spring varieties of wheat and barley, flax, peas and early soybeans will be summed up. Conclusions will be made on the most effective technologies for plant protection and nutrition under irrigated and dryland conditions.
In addition to the demonstration part, visitors will enjoy a rich business program. Experts will present the most relevant and in-demand topics of the season.
Following the event, the leaders of agricultural experiments will be announced: the most productive protection and nutrition systems at the Privolzhye Agropolygon and the best varieties among the harvested crops will be named.
The results will be announced for 8 crops: winter and spring wheat, barley, peas, soybeans, corn, flax and sunflower: the most productive and high-quality varieties, protection and nutrition systems. And most importantly, cost-effectiveness!
A traditional drawing of valuable prizes for agricultural producers will take place at the end. Among them are 10 tons of seeds that can be tested in the new season.
