The heads of all pig-breeding enterprises and farms must ensure maximum biological protection and import pigs only from safe regions.
"To prevent the introduction of bird flu into the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, the heads of poultry enterprises are required to take exceptional measures for biological protection, promptly inform the veterinary services if there is a suspicion of a bird disease," the minister said. He emphasized that it is necessary to control the import of feed, poultry and poultry products from outside the republic, and strengthen control over the implementation of biological protection conditions by poultry farms.
