A delegation of farmers from Hunan Province of China visited the Ministry

Today, a meeting was held at the Ministry under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, heads of industry departments and a delegation of farmers from Hunan Province of the People's Republic of China.

The Chinese delegation was headed by the Director of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Hunan Province Yu Yinghong. The delegation also included representatives of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Institutes of Agricultural Crop Research, Agricultural Economics and Zoning, Tea and Agricultural Processing of Hunan Province.

Lenar Garipov spoke about the possibilities of producing livestock and crop products. He also invited everyone to visit the large-scale International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Agrovolga", which will be held in July 2025.

During the event, the participants in the negotiations examined the achievements and successes in the field of agriculture, outlined the main areas of interaction between the Republic of Tatarstan and Hunan Province, and emphasized the focus on developing cooperation in the agricultural sector. The prospects for developing foreign economic relations in the dairy and livestock sectors, as well as participation in international exhibitions and economic forums, were discussed in detail.

The Chinese guests are interested in Tatarstan's experience in producing dairy products, especially dry milk. One of the areas for dialogue in the future is rapeseed crop. It is important for guests from China to build long-term and strong relations with the Russian side for the import and export of tea, vegetable and grain products.

The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic relations in the agro-industrial complex and increasing trade turnover between the Republic of Tatarstan and the People's Republic of China.
