From July 3 to 5, the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition AGROVOLGA 2024 was held at KazanExpo. More than 400 companies from 42 regions of Russia and 4 countries demonstrated their new developments in various areas of the agro-industrial complex to the public on 48 hectares: agricultural machinery and spare parts, crop production, livestock farming, digitalization, storage, processing and packaging of agricultural products, construction in agriculture and much more.
In three days, despite the extreme hot weather, the exhibition was visited by 15,984 specialists and managers of the agro-industrial sector from 54 regions of Russia and 8 countries.
On July 4, the exhibition was visited by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Andrey Razin, who called the AGROVOLGA exhibition a world-class event: "I would like to thank you for the magnificent event of the all-Russian, I would even say, world level," said Razin. According to him, the exhibition is becoming "wider, more beautiful and better quality" every year. "It sets the highest level of such events not only for our country, but also for the international community of farmers," the speaker emphasized.
The deputy minister added that the exhibition is visited by a large number of participants, including foreign ones. "We see great interest from farmers. And the most important thing is that the exhibition has a practical result," he noted. Every year, important contracts are concluded here, new advanced agricultural technologies, seeds, plant protection products, and mechanization tools are demonstrated, Razin continued.
The III Republican competition-breeding of cattle of the dairy productivity direction "KRASA AGROVOLGI" that took place on the fields of the exhibition made a real splash on the Internet. The competition, which has become annual, brought together 80 of the best Holstein animals from 40 breeding farms of the Republic of Tatarstan. Among the dairy heifers, the best was a cow from the Kukmorsky district. The judge of the "Krasa AGROVOLGI" competition - International professional appraiser of the National Association of Holstein-Friesian Cattle Producers of the Republic of Hungary Tamas Sebok shared his impressions:
"Three years ago, I was here for the first time and stood in the same place, and thank you for your trust that I can be here again. Both the competition and the exhibition are very powerful communication tools, all representatives of the agricultural sector meet in one place and can discuss all pressing issues. And this is also an informal meeting place with our end consumers. For them, such events lift the veil of secrecy, they can look into the agricultural sector from the inside. And everyone can see the result of the hard, intense work of representatives of agriculture. I would like to thank the organizers for creating a special festive atmosphere at this event. I wish all exhibitors a successful three days of the exhibition, and wish the audience a memorable visit to the AGROVOLGA exhibition.
More than 20 round tables were held at the exhibition site, where topical issues of the agro-industrial complex were discussed. In particular, these are issues of melioration to ensure food security in any climatic year, digital trends in the agro-industrial complex, issues of agricultural insurance, modernization, introduction of gas motor fuel in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. The management company "August-Agro", the GC "EcoNiva" and other companies shared their experience in managing livestock enterprises. The sponsor of the business program - "PhosAgro Region" - presented a service for agrochemical soil survey and will tell why it is worth choosing seeds of domestic selection.
More than 90 speakers took part in the business program, which was broadcast online. The recording of the speeches can be viewed in the VKontakte group.
A platform such as AGROVOLGA became an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your new products, talk about company news, which many large companies did.
For example, the strategic partner of the exhibition, the leading domestic manufacturer of plant protection products, the company "August", presented the launch of a plant for the production of grain sleeves and film materials. Such sleeves are largely capable of optimizing crop storage and unloading the harvesting campaign. One of the largest fertilizer producers in Europe, the chemical complex "Ammonium" this year presented a new product: liquid fertilizers KAS-32. As experts in the agricultural sector note, today this is one of the most effective ways of feeding plants. "PhosAgro-Region" - a partner of the business program - presented a wide range of modern mineral fertilizers, as well as its developments in the field of mineral nutrition technologies for plants. They can be adapted to almost any region of our country. The exhibition partner bank, Rosselkhozbank, provided advice on preferential lending programs, presented the capabilities of the Svoye ecosystem, and spoke about measures to support residents in purchasing and improving homes in rural areas.
Not only Russian companies, but also foreign companies from the Republic of Belarus, Turkey, China, and Iran took part in the exhibition. Turkish companies presented irrigation systems, equipment and technologies for processing and packaging agricultural products, equipment for flour mills, and various agricultural machinery. Iran presented trailed tillage equipment, China – a parallel driving system and other digital technologies for agricultural machinery, and a Chinese combine will also be demonstrated. The Republic of Belarus presented equipment for livestock farms, grain cleaning machines, and much more at the exhibition.
The premiere of the new Zoomlion PG2004 tractor from the Terra-Povolzhye dealer took place. For the first time in the Volga region, the first Kirovets K-100 combine was presented. The self-propelled sprayer KazanSelmash Bars 4000 could be evaluated in operation. In total, more than 320 units of equipment could be seen at the exhibition.
The field exposition was presented by a large and rich section on animal husbandry, as well as experimental fields.
More than 250 promising and most adapted new products of domestic and foreign selection could be evaluated at the variety testing site. At this site, in the fields of "AGROVOLGA", many basic crops were presented: winter grains, varieties and hybrids of grain and legumes, forage and industrial crops.
The largest and most anticipated section for the participants was a visit to the livestock block: the guests got acquainted with modern equipment and machinery for livestock farms, breeding material, feed and feed additives, veterinary drugs and hygiene products.
This segment of the exhibition was attended by both well-known large manufacturers and suppliers Yarvet, Elita, Simex Russia, Glazov Feed Mill, Invet, Lallemand, Intergen and others, as well as new promising companies.
It is significant that the livestock section at this exhibition is very widely represented, because the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in milk production. For the first time, the sponsor of this section was the EkoNiva Group of Companies, one of the largest holdings and the leader in milk production in Russia. This year, the holding is launching a service for consulting support in the sale of Holstein breeding heifers. This approach will optimize farm management, increase its profitability and reduce production costs.
The international agro-industrial exhibition "AGROVOLGA 2024" has become one of the most striking events in the agro-industrial industry this year. Here one could get acquainted with new achievements in various areas of the agro-industrial complex, obtain complete information about new progressive agricultural technologies and innovations, global trends in the agro-industrial complex, and establish and strengthen business contacts.
