Kazan will host participants of the First International Cattle Hoof Trimming Tournament
As part of the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "AGROVOLGA", which will be held on July 3-5 at the Kazan Expo IEC and adjacent fields, the First International Cattle Hoof Trimming Tournament will be held.
More than 150 veterinary orthopedic hoof surgeons from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, as well as Turkey and Kazakhstan will meet on one site to compete for the title of the best in their profession. The prize fund of the tournament will be one million rubles.
The competition is designed to increase the prestige of the profession of a veterinarian, orthopedic veterinarian, improve the skills of specialists, and attract the younger generation to the field of a specific profession.
Veterinarians and orthopedic specialists working in agricultural enterprises and animal disease control stations, students of educational institutions and the self-employed can take part in the tournament. The collection of applications for participation ends on June 17. Details about the conditions of participation can be found on the website of the NATIONAL UNION OF HOOF TREATERS.
The panel of judges will include representatives of the veterinary academies of Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Far Eastern State Agrarian University. Vasily Rukol from the Republic of Belarus and a famous veterinarian from the Republic of Turkey - director of the Germencik company Mehmet Baha Yuzmen - were invited as independent experts. The judges also include veterinarians from specialized organizations providing professional services: AgriPo (Republic of Belarus), peasant farm of Yuri Aleksandrovich Timofeev (Chuvash Republic) and individual entrepreneur N.N. Pakhomov. (Kabardino-Balkarian Republic).
The competition was organized jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Union of Hoof Handlers, the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N. E. Bauman and the Project LLC company.
