At the end of 2023, ZMK increased the output of finished products by 10.5%
JSC Zelenodolsk Dairy Processing Plant summed up its work for 2023. At all production sites of the enterprise in Zelenodolsk, Chistopol and Buinsk, 251 thousand tons of raw milk were processed during the year. The total daily level of raw milk processing was about 690 tons.
Over the past year, the company produced 120.1 thousand tons of products. Compared to 2022, this figure increased by 10.5%. In total, the plant produced 198 million packages of dairy products. The brand “Ochen Vazhnaya Korova” showed the greatest growth. Last year, 42 thousand tons of products of this brand were produced. This is an increase of 29.5% compared to the same period in 2022. An increase also occurred in the “Obnimama” baby food segment – an increase of 2.5%.
The best-selling products in 2023 were “Ochen Vazhnaya Korova” butter with a mass fraction of fat of 72.5% - 10.97 million units were sold, and the growth was 15%, and drinking milk under the brand “Vaskino Shchastye” with a mass fraction fat 2.5% - 19.3 million units of the product were sold. In the product line of the Obnimama trademark, children's curds have the best results. The number of units sold was 24.9 million.
Today, the company produces 99 of its own items, as well as 38 types of products for Russian retailers. In 2023, the plant produced 13.6 thousand tons of dairy products for federal retail chains, which is 15.8% more than in 2022. According to the company’s own analytical service, the share of ZMK JSC in the Tatarstan market is 24%.
In 2023, the plant continued modernization. In particular, work was carried out at the Zelenodolsk site to increase the production of soft cottage cheese and sour cream. Compressors and units were also replaced, new tank equipment was installed, and a new blowing machine was launched for the line for filling milk into PET bottles. The Chistopol branch continues to implement a project to increase production volumes of classic cottage cheese and renovate production facilities. A large-scale project to modernize the dry dairy products workshop was successfully completed in Buinsk.
