Marat Zyabbarov: “72 companies have already applied for the International Fair “Kazan-Halal Market 2024

Today a briefing was held at the Government House on the International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov also took part in it. He spoke about the upcoming international fair “Kazan-Halal Market”.

Marat Zyabbarov informed journalists that last year more than 400 companies were represented at the fair, taking into account the permanent exhibitors of the agricultural park, including participants from Iran, Senegal, Turkey, Afghanistan, and regions of the Russian Federation. The range of products presented amounted to about 4,500 products. 
The event was attended by about 40 thousand people, among them residents and guests of the city of Kazan, 14 foreign and 16 Russian delegations. 

This year, the Kazan-Halal Market will be held from May 14 to 19, also at the site of the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park.
“To date, a list of 72 companies has been formed that plan to participate in the market, including 15 foreign companies from 9 countries, such as Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Malaysia and Indonesia. It is also planned that 57 companies from Russian regions will participate,” the minister noted.  
“Halal” products will be presented in the following areas: 
horse meat products, delicacies, sausages, canned food;
beekeeping products;
melons (strawberries, berries, marshmallows, etc.);
medicinal herbs, teas, jams (healthy nation);
national clothing (national hats, Orenburg down scarves, etc.);
folk crafts (3D models of mosques, namazlyk, rosary 
made of natural stone, printed materials and other souvenirs).

Currently, work has begun on the design of trade pavilions in the style of the International Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum” 2024. Cleaning of trade pavilions and industrial premises of the Agroprompark is planned for May 6.  All presented meat, fish and dairy products will necessarily arrive at the fair accompanied by veterinary accompanying documents, which are checked by veterinary laboratory staff.
