Equipment for records on Tatarstan fields

Every year, Tatarstan farmers pay more attention to updating their technical fleet. Last year alone, the republic’s machine and tractor fleet was updated by almost 13 billion rubles, farms purchased about 3 thousand units of machinery and equipment, while state support programs encourage giving priority to domestic brands and Russia’s partners in the Customs Union.

One of such farms that is actively engaged in updating agricultural machinery is Nurlat-Agro LLC. In January of this year, they purchased 8 units of new products, preference was given to Rostselmash agricultural machines.

As the chief engineer of the farm, Viktor Markelov, said, the choice of Rostselmash equipment was a deliberate matter.

“Already in January of this year, there were 8 Rostselmash units in our fleet. We bought six ACROS combines because we had already worked on them before. The combine is very good and reliable, we had no problems with it. We have 7,200 hectares of area for growing grain and industrial crops. When planning the 2024 season, we started thinking about updating the park. We studied the situation in the industry, and it made no sense to buy imported equipment, it was many times more expensive - both the machines themselves and spare parts. And the response time to our request is much longer,” he noted.

Along with combines, the farm also purchased 2 Rostselmash 2375 tractors. The availability of service also plays an important role in the acquisition of equipment.

“Some minor work is carried out by our mechanics, and when more complex repairs need to be carried out, we contact the service department of the ART dealer. They react quickly and perform the work efficiently,” Viktor Markelov shared his impressions.

There is more and more Rostselmash equipment in the fields of Tatarstan. According to Radim Nurkhametov, director of the dealership center ART LLC, in 2023 alone, more than 150 Rostselmash units were purchased by regional farms.
