1 April 2024, Monday

The best graduate of the fourth cohort of the “Farmer School” in Tatarstan, Lyudmila Kiyaeva (Kaibitsky district), was awarded a certificate for receiving a grant. The award ceremony took place at Kazan State Agrarian University. The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of Rosselkhozbank Liya Shainurova, Vice-Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University Andrey Dmitriev, Leading Advisor to the Department for the Development of Small Forms of Business of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Bulat Khairutdinov.

A project for the production, storage and sale of fruit and berry crops in the Kaybitsky district received financial support. Lyudmila Kiyaeva is a co-founder of the peasant farm “ArtSad”, director of EcoAIS LLC. In 2023, the organization processed more than 30 tons of blackcurrants purchased from local farmers. It has its own fruit and berry garden. Black currants grow on a plot of 60 hectares, and raspberries grow on 3.5 hectares. The plans are to increase the territory of the garden of perennial plantings to 100 hectares. The development of agritourism in the garden is also considered a promising option.

The successful implementation of the business plan will be facilitated by the knowledge acquired at the Farmer's School. In general, 40 Tatarstan residents have already studied the legal aspects of farming, financial business models, and the basics of marketing. The training took place in two directions: “Rural agrotourism”, “Technology for processing crop and livestock products”.

In Tatarstan, the all-Russian educational project of Rosselkhozbank was implemented 4 times. 144 beginning farmers received state diplomas. In total, across Russia, based on the results of eight streams, more than 5,300 beginning farmers from 58 regions of our country were trained.
