The laureates of the State Prize in the field of science and technology in 2023 have become known. Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov signed a decree on awarding state prizes of the republic in the field of science and technology in 2023.
Among the four scientific works recognized as worthy of the high award, there is also a work in the field of land reclamation.

Tatarstan State Prizes in the field of science and technology were established in April 1993. They are awarded for a significant contribution to the development of the humanities, natural and technical sciences, corresponding to the level of advanced domestic and world achievements and contributing to the socio-economic development and spiritual progress of the republic; for the development and implementation of fundamentally new resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies and equipment, advanced materials, machines and mechanisms, which in terms of their performance are at the level of the world's best analogues; for outstanding production results obtained on the basis of the widespread introduction of scientific and technological achievements and ensuring high labor productivity and the creation of qualitatively new types of products.
