On September 9, the equestrian festival Horse Day will be held in the village of Novy Kyrlay, Arsky district.
The traditional equestrian sports festival “Horse Day” will take place on September 9 in the Arsky municipal district. The event has been held since 2015 jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, OJSC Trust Company Tatmelioration and the Main Veterinary Directorate of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As part of the equestrian sports festival, horse races will be held at distances of 40, 80, 100, 120 and 160 km, races for Tatar horses, purebred and half-blooded and local breeds, competitions, exhibitions, demonstration performances by dog handlers, a concert and an agricultural fair.
The festival has become one of the landmark events for the Republic of Tatarstan and an integral part of the measures taken to support, develop and popularize the entire equestrian industry.
