Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Zainsky and Mendeleevsky municipal districts
On the trip, he was accompanied by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lenar Garipov. During the visit, they met with local farmers and discussed the current situation in the fields.
The head of the Zainsky district, Razif Karimov, said that the grain harvesting was completed last Friday. With a yield of 26 centners per hectare, 93.5 thousand tons were harvested. In this regard, Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with a symbolic loaf of the 2023 harvest from the farmers.
Today the villagers started harvesting sugar beets. 8.8 thousand hectares were allocated for this crop. Estimated yield - 350 q/ha. It is planned to collect over 307 thousand tons. On August 28, a sugar factory was launched with a processing capacity of 8 thousand tons of root crops per day. In general, the plant is ready to accept up to 1 million tons of raw materials, both from local agricultural producers and from Sarmanovsky, Menzelinsky, Tukaevsky and Muslyumovsky districts.
In terms of forage, taking into account last year's stocks, there are 35.5 centners of feed per 1 conditional head of cattle. It is necessary to prepare another 30 thousand tons of silage. All household plots are fully provided with feed. At the moment, winter crops are being sown on the fields of the district and soil is being cultivated with the application of mineral fertilizers.
Rustam Minnikhanov drew attention to the need to develop animal husbandry, both in private farmsteads and in large agricultural holdings. “Your livestock is declining, this issue should be given priority attention. We have different support mechanisms for farmers,” said Rais of Tatarstan.
At the same time, Rustam Minnikhanov highly appreciated the development of crop production in the Zainsk region. “In general, the district is very organized, the situation is stable, and the leader is experienced. You have good results in crop production and harvesting. For this year, 26 centners per hectare is a very good harvest. But the livestock needs to be restored”.
Immediately upon arrival in the Mendeleevsky district, Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by the head of the district Radmir Belyaev, the general director of Ammoniy JSC Dmitry Makarov, visited Ammoniy JSC.
He got acquainted with the main financial and economic indicators of JSC "Ammoniy", with the presentation of new projects. This includes a new workshop for the production of an exhaust gas cleaning agent for diesel engines. The start of production is scheduled for October 2023 (estimated capacity is 32 thousand tons per year).
Also, Rustam Minnikhanov was shown the site being created for the production of liquid carbon dioxide.
