The harvesting campaign of grain crops is carried out in AGROSILA on a total area of arable land of 121,087 hectares. Harvesting started on July 11, it is planned to be completed in early September. To date, 67% of the total arable land has been harvested.
Of the cereals, AGROSILA cultivates winter wheat, spring wheat, spring barley, winter rye, oats and corn. Every year AGROSILA conducts experiments on the use of new feeding systems, experiments on the introduction of new technologies for tillage. Today, one of the main tasks is the search for agricultural technology aimed at creating optimal conditions for the cultivation of crops in drought conditions. To solve the problems of increasing the yield and quality of the resulting grain, experiments that have a positive result are considered for use in industrial crops.
A state of emergency was declared in Tatarstan due to drought, and the planned harvesting volume was reduced to 282,000 tons. Compared to 2021, when there was also abnormally hot and dry weather, the planned results of the current harvesting campaign are higher. In 2021, the gross grain harvest amounted to 213 thousand tons with a yield of 18 centners per hectare. In the 2023 season, the predicted yield is at the level of 23.3 c/ha.
The entire harvest is traditionally sent to the elevators that are part of the holding's structure - Naberezhnochelninsky and Zainsky, as well as to the Aktanysh grain-receiving enterprise. These sites receive, clean, dry, store and ship grain.
