Agrobiotechnopark of Kazan State Agrarian University held "Field Day of Agrarian Science - 2023"
Today, on the basis of the Agrobiotechnopark of the Kazan State Agrarian University and the TatNIISH FRC KazSC RAS, the "Field Day of Agrarian Science - 2023" was held. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Yashin, representatives of agricultural administrations of municipal districts.
The participants discussed the main areas of scientific research on the basis of the "Agrobiotechnopark of Kazan State Agrarian University", production experience in the development of methods of biologization, reduction of the carbon footprint and agrometeorological support of crop production, assessment of productivity and quality characteristics of different varieties of crops, the effectiveness of the use of various biological products under abiotic stress, scientific and technological support for irrigation of agricultural crops.
"Agrobiotechnopark" of Kazan State Agrarian University is an intellectual and technological platform for the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan based on the combination of scientific and educational potential and resources of leading institutions of vocational education, research organizations, agricultural producers and agribusiness. The experimental site of the Agrarian University is located in the Laishevsky district, near the village Narmonka.
Dmitry Yashin examined field experiments on plot crops using various technologies for cultivating the main and non-traditional crops.
This event is held for the fourth time, this year the area was 212 hectares of land. Last year, the "Agricultural Science Field Day - 2022" was held on 100 hectares of land.
The purpose is to create a favorable innovative environment for the development, testing and replication of competitive technologies in agriculture and the sustainable development of rural areas to increase the welfare and quality of life of the population, the development of domestic agribusiness.
