Agrosila began harvesting fodder crops on May 28 with laying haylage. In total, it is planned to harvest perennial grasses for haylage on an area of 12,612 hectares, for hay - on an area of 1,615 hectares, and for silage - on an area of 5,727 hectares. 85,736 tons of silage, 75,160 tons of haylage and 1,892 tons of hay will be harvested.
Weather conditions had a significant impact on fodder harvesting for the winter period: due to too low temperatures at the beginning of the resumption of spring vegetation, crops of perennial grasses were damaged. However, taking into account the carry-over stock of last year, the livestock will be fully provided with feed. As of today, there are 50,081 tons of haylage, 27,259 tons of hay in stock.
Agrosila also produces compound feed according to recipes developed by the holding's specialists for the needs of the livestock sector. These are complete mixed feeds, the composition of which is balanced in terms of protein, vitamin and mineral components. Feed mills are equipped with the most modern technological equipment, which allows us to produce high-quality finished products that meet not only Russian regulatory requirements, but also international standards.
In total, in 2023, it is planned to procure 308,901 tons of feed at the feed mills that are part of the Naberezhnye Chelny Elevator, and more than 4,000 tons at the Aktanysh. This will be enough both for the needs of the holding, in particular, for a new poultry farm in the Perm Territory, and for third-party consumers.
