For the first time in Tatarstan, an authentic Sabantuy will be held
On June 10, the national holiday Sabantuy will be held in the Buinsky municipal district. This year, for the first time, it will be held in an authentic style. Guests of the holiday will be able to see farmsteads of different nationalities and take part in various master classes.
In the Chuvash farmstead, you can see a master class on felting wool slippers with national patterns, knitting woolen socks, and making the Chuvash national headdress “Tukhya”.
In the Russian Compound, they will show how to cook openwork pancakes, how to properly brew tea from herbs, hold a master class on embroidering towels and making stools and chairs.
In addition, the holiday program is full of various events. Trade fair, performances by creative teams, exhibition-presentation of agricultural machinery, exhibition - sale of national clothes "Millatnen bizakläre", theatrical zone "Scenes from village life" (haymaking, arba, village life), exhibitions dedicated to the Year of National Cultures and Traditions of the Republic of Tatarstan, various master classes, ancient games, swings, carousels, sports competitions, as well as a festive concert and fireworks.
