Kazan Fat Plant increased oil exports by 28%
One of the leading manufacturers of oil and fat products in Russia and Eastern Europe, Kazan Fat Plant continues to increase the pace of exports of its products. For four months of 2023, Kazan Fat Plant exported 71 thousand tons of oil: 61 thousand tons of sunflower oil to China, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and more than 10 thousand tons of rapeseed oil to China and Iran. This is 28% more than in the same period last year.
In 2022, the Kazan Fat Plant produced 244,000 tons of sunflower and 28,000 tons of rapeseed oils. The plant exported 135 thousand tons of sunflower oil to Iran, China and Belarus. 18.5 thousand tons of rapeseed oil were shipped to Iran and China. The total export volume of this product is more than 150 thousand tons.
Last year, we launched exports of sunflower and rapeseed oils to China. The partnership has shown that the product is in demand, therefore, export ties continue to strengthen, and new sales markets are expanding.
