Teoterico-practical seminar was held today in Aktanyshsky municipal district. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Rafael Fattakhov, Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, heads of agricultural departments.
“Today we are holding another Haylage Day. We will feel the benefits and effectiveness of this event throughout the year, since the quality of the prepared feed is directly related to the productivity of livestock. The republic, as before, occupies a leading position in terms of milk production, but in terms of productivity per cow, we are still only in 26th place. There is something to strive for and the successful implementation of the forage harvesting company depends only on ourselves. This year we have to prepare 3.5 million tons of haylage, 4 million tons of silage, 350 thousand tons of hay,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
At the seminar, the participants were told about the basics of high-quality forage harvesting, haylage harvesting strategies, renewal of perennial crops, trends in qualitative changes in haylage in the Republic of Tatarstan, technologies for liming acidic soils before sowing perennial grasses, features of the work of forage laboratories in the Republic of Tatarstan, rules for preparing trenches for harvesting and storing fodder.
“The main task for the current period remains the procurement of fodder. There are sufficient technical capabilities for timely forage harvesting in the republic. The load during the harvesting period falls on self-propelled forage harvesters and mowers. Therefore, the technical readiness of each machine is important,” said Rafael Fattakhov.
Last week, a commission acceptance of the republic's forage harvesting complex was organized by specialists from the Ministry and subordinate organizations. The trips showed the high readiness of the farms of the Arsky, Atninsky, Mamadyshsky, Kukmorsky, Sabinsky, Sarmanovsky, Zainsky, Aktanyshsky districts. Low potential of forage harvesting equipment in Bugulma, Verkhne-Uslonsky, Kaibitsky, Kamsko-Ustyinsky, Muslyumovsky, Mendeleevsky, Spassky districts.
Active modernization of equipment continues. Farms purchased more than 1200 units of equipment, including tractors, 70 grain harvesters and 25 forage harvesters, for the amount of about 6 billion rubles.
The practical part of the seminar was held at the site of Aktanysh LLC. Agricultural machinery was presented here and supplier companies spoke about the possibilities of acquiring agricultural equipment and spare parts.
