More than 1 billion rubles allocated to support small businesses in Tatarstan

  Since the beginning of 2023, the Russian Agricultural Bank in Tatarstan has provided more than 1 billion rubles to small businesses, increasing the issuance by 176% compared to the same period last year. Of these, almost all funds were issued at a preferential rate, which is 173% more than in the same period last year.

Rosselkhozbank holds the first place in the region in the implementation of the concessional lending program. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the share of the branch in the regional market for loans is about 80%.


Thus, since 2021, the bank in Tatarstan has been implementing the Farmer's School educational project, where newcomers and existing farmers are taught to build and maintain profitable agriculture on the basis of a specialized agricultural university. The training took place on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

For two years, 104 students of the "Farmer's School" in Tatarstan underwent theoretical training, studied the legal aspects of farming, financial business models, marketing basics, got acquainted with the latest agricultural technologies, were trained at leading enterprises in the industry and developed their own business plans in the following specialties: "Poultry farming", "Dairy and meat cattle breeding", "Cattle breeding", "Horse breeding", "Crop breeding".
