Development prospects were discussed at the TatNIISH

Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov held a meeting with scientists from the TatNIISH. The parties discussed the strategic objectives of the development of the institute for the future, as an innovative platform for new varieties and technologies for the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan.

Prior to the meeting, the Minister visited the new laboratory of molecular genetic and microbiological methods. It was created with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation within the framework of the project "Genetic technology for the selection of microorganisms and the design of consortiums based on them for the creation of biological products in crop production."

Marat Zyabbarov noted that the TatNIISH site is a priority, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the near future, TatNIISH should adequately represent agricultural science at the All-Russian Field Day, build an interesting program for distinguished guests, as the basis for further mutually beneficial cooperation. Scientists should actively participate in zonal seminars-meetings on crop production and animal husbandry, promoting their products.

During the meeting, Marat Zyabbarov focused on the key objectives of the development of the institute to improve the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan, namely:
bring to completion the work on perennial grasses;
pay special attention to the quality of grain, work more actively with the bakeries of the Republic of Tatarstan, taking into account their requirements;
purposefully grow grain that meets the requirements of the flour-grinding industry;
the laboratory of molecular genetic and microbiological methods should be as busy as possible;
a clear plan for the sale of seeds of original seeds of higher reproductions should be built;
prepare a roadmap for systematic work on variety change and variety renewal;
prepare a program for selection, seed production and genetic certification of varieties;
make proposals for scholarships for young scientists and specialists.

At the end of the meeting, the minister proposed to make wider use of the possibilities of joint work of the institute with scientific institutions of Tatarstan, as well as with enterprises in the real sector of the economy and large agricultural holdings.
