ZMK produced 300 million packs under the Obnimama brand
This year, the brand of baby food "Obnimama" of the Zelenodolsk dairy processing plant is 5 years old. During this time, 300 million packages of products with elephants Hug and Hug on the label were produced for babies. The most popular products of the line are fruit curds enriched with vitamins A, C and D. In 2022, more than 26 million packages were sold.
In 2018, a rebranding took place and Obnimama took the place of the old brand "For Kids". Also, the name of the adapted sterilized milk formula "Baby" has changed. Now adapted ultra-pasteurized milk mixtures are called "Adamilk-1" for children from the first days of life and "Adamilk-2" from 8 months.
To date, products are presented in more than 4,700 shops in Tatarstan, Bashkiria, the Chuvash and Mari Republics, Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Samara, Togliatti, Ulyanovsk.
JSC "ZMK" is the only certified manufacturer of milk nutrition in Tatarstan for children from the first days of life. Raw materials for Obnimama products are supplied only from farms that have special certificates for the production of milk intended for baby food. Since 2010, under the Belekach program, the company has been supplying free food "Obnimama" to dairy kitchens throughout Tatarstan. There are 63 of them in total.
Last year, the Yandex.Music service released an audio version of the children's book Hug Me, which the plant published jointly with the federal publishing house Alpina Publisher in 2021. The audio format of the fairy tale can be found on the LitRes website, and the book can be bought in bookstores across the country and on Ozon and Wildberries. In 2023, it is planned to release a continuation of the beloved story about the new adventures of the baby elephant Hugs and his friends.
The Obnimama brand is well known to young Kazan families with children, not only for dairy products, but also for the swings that the plant installed in the summer of 2022 on the Kremlin embankment. Elephants Obnimama and Obnimashka are located in the children's area of the embankment and delight the residents of the capital all year round.
