Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov took part in the grand opening of the first stage of the BUT BIG 6 heavy cross-country turkey hatching egg reproducer. This is a project of the Branko Nitra company (Slovak Republic) on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The hatchery is designed at the first stage to hatch 116,000 eggs per month and is equipped with the most modern equipment from Petersime (Belgium), which is one of the world's leading manufacturers of incubators and hatchery equipment. The technical innovations of this equipment provide the highest productivity. In the future, it is planned to double the number of hatches due to the additional installation of incubation and hatchers.

“The appearance of such a project on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan should have a positive impact on turkey producers. A big plus is that logistical issues are resolved with the delivery of eggs and incubation issues. According to the results of last year, about 1200 thousand eggs were brought to the republic,” Marat Zyabbarov noted.

The incubator is located in the Korsabashsky rural settlement of the Sabinsky municipal district. The total cost of the project to launch the incubator was 3 million euros. In the future, it is planned to build and launch up to 6 farms on the territory of the Sabinsky municipal district to accommodate the turkey parent stock.
