Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the year
Today, the re-election conference of the Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports Federations of the Republic of Tatarstan was held. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, director of Kazan Hippodrome LLC Marat Gilfanov, deputy head of the auxiliary production department, equestrian sports curator of PJSC Tatneft Giyaz Idiyatullin, members of the Federation.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov gave statistical data on the increase and decrease in horse stock in each individual region.
As of December 1 of this year, the number of horses in all categories is 30.7 thousand heads, in agricultural organizations 9 thousand heads, in household plots 12.5 thousand heads and peasant farms 9.2 thousand heads of horses. In terms of the increase in the number of horses, it is most concentrated in the Sabinsky, Baltasinsky, Buinsky, Novosheshminsky municipal districts. The main indicator for production is the output of foals per 100 mares.
The largest population of the Tatar breed of horses is in the Leninogorsk, Alkeevsky and Tyulyachinsky municipal districts. These areas are the originators of the breed, LLC "Plemproduktor named after Sagit Giniyatullin" of the Tyulyachinsky municipal district in May last year became the first breeding product of the Tatar breed.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov set tasks to increase the number of horses to 50 thousand heads and develop the national traditions of the Tatar people.
