"Farmer's School" prepared 40 qualified farmers in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the project of the Russian Agricultural Bank "Farmer's School" was completed. 40 students received theoretical knowledge and had an internship at successful agricultural enterprises, developed their own business plans for the specialties "Poultry" and "Cattle breeding". Beginners learned how to start a profitable agribusiness from scratch, while their more experienced colleagues improved the efficiency of their farms. The educational program was implemented on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Director of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of Rosselkhozbank Lyalya Kudermetova, Rector of Kazan State University Airat Valiev, Deputy Director of the State Budgetary Institution Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan Bulat Khairutdinov took part in the closing ceremony of the School of the Farmer.

“Today can be called historic. We have officially closed the third stream of training at the Farmer's School and graduated 40 beginning agricultural producers. I am sure that the graduates will realize all their ideas, will continue to study and help implement ambitious plans in the agro-industrial complex of our republic. We are glad that the project was successful. It is especially pleasant that among our students there are KSAU graduates in basic education, who have shown great interest in our unique program,” Director Lyalya Kudermetova said.

Participants of the project also shared their impressions. They noted that the "Farmer's School" gave a new impetus to business development. As a result of the training, the students improved their financial and legal literacy, learned about the measures of state and banking support, and studied the experience of successful entrepreneurs.

The event ended with the presentation of state diplomas to the graduates of the "School of the Farmer".

In just three streams, the "School of the Farmer" prepared more than 100 farmers.
