Analytics on the sale of livestock and poultry in the Republic of Tatarstan

The Republic of Tatarstan ranks 6th in Russia for the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight.

In January-September 2022, the volume of production in farms of all categories in the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 355.6 thousand tons - 4.2 thousand tons less than in January-September 2021 .

The reason for the decline in production is the reduction in the number of farm animals.

As of October 1, 2022, the sale (shipment) of livestock and poultry in the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 99.9% compared to the same period in 2021 and 105.6% compared to the average value of 2017-2021.

In the structure of livestock and poultry sales, the largest share is occupied by poultry - 51%, cattle account for 25%, pigs - 24%.

In 20 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the indicator of sales (shipment) of livestock and poultry exceeds the level of 2021, in 23 districts - the average level of 2017-2021.

- Tukaevsky - 34.9%
 - Aktanyshsky - 8.7%
- Pestrechinsky - 8.4%
- Zelenodolsky - 8.4%
- Buinsky - 5.4%

The smallest volumes of livestock and poultry as of October 01, 2022 were shipped in the following areas:

Cheremshansky
Bugulminsky
Spassky
Kamsko-Ustyinsky
Almetevsky
Bavlinsky
Verhne- Uslonsky.

The largest volume of livestock for meat processing plants in January-September 2022 was handed over to agricultural organizations in the following regions of the Republic of Tatarstan:

Zelenodolsk
Sabinsky
Mamadyshsky
Arsky
Aznakaevsky.

Breeding sale in January-September 2022 is developed in Kukmorsky, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Sabinsky, Arsky districts.
