Participants of the “Farmer's School” of the Russian Agricultural Bank consolidated their theoretical knowledge on cow milking technologies in practice. During field studies, the students of the Cattle Breeding subgroup studied the experience of successful farms in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Participants learned how to automate dairy production at the robotic dairy complex of the Mukhametshin Z.Z. in the Sabinsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The course participants were shown robots responsible for milking, feeding animals, cleaning stalls and feeders. In addition, they talked about the features of the technology of keeping and rearing young animals, creating and adjusting the microclimate on the farm.
“To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised that our dairy farms use such modern technologies. Robots allow you to increase milk yields, and reduce labor costs. I will definitely use this experience in my future farm,” Azat Gapsalamov, a student of the Farmer’s School, shared his impressions.
The students of the Cattle Breeding subgroup have already studied the features of keeping dairy cattle during their visit to the Levashovo livestock complex in the Alekseevsky district. The participants were clearly shown the mechanism of fodder preparation, the technology of keeping and raising calves, system of windproof cowshed curtains. The audience also visited the maternity ward, the milking parlor, and the feed shop.
The students will apply the acquired knowledge in the preparation and presentation of business projects, then they will receive a state diploma under the additional education program "Agribusiness of Farming". Training at the "School of the Farmer" is carried out on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University with the financial support of the Russian Agricultural Bank and the assistance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
