The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting on the reliability of power supply of agricultural facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan
The ministry hosted a meeting on the reliability of power supply to the objects of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Deputy Minister Rafael Fattakhov, Deputy General Director of JSC "Grid Company" Almir Latipov, Chief Advisor to the General Director Valery Kandalintsev, Deputy Technical Director for Distribution Grids Dmitry Shapovalov.
“Electricity consumption remains virtually unchanged. As of 11/01/22, the increase in electricity prices compared to 2020 for agricultural enterprises amounted to 6.5%. Every year, the price of electricity increases by an average of 4%, which hinders the development of the agricultural sector,” said Almir Latipov.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed that JSC "Grid Company" will provide the technical capabilities of regional substations and the ministry will work with agricultural producers.
