Tatarstan is in the top three regions in terms of issuing rural mortgages

More than 410 Tatarstan families took advantage of the rural mortgage program from Rosselkhozbank this year. The total amount of loans issued in 2022 exceeded 1 billion rubles. According to the bank's experts, Tatarstan is one of the three leading regions in issuance of rural mortgages from the RSHB.

Of rural mortgages, Tatarstan residents mainly purchase ready-made houses. An analysis of approved applications shows that houses are purchased in all regions of the republic, but the most popular are Pestrechinsky, Vysokogorsky and Laishevsky regions.

In total, Rosselkhozbank issued loans to 75,000 families to improve their living conditions under the Rural Mortgage, becoming the leader of this program. The total amount of disbursements reached 150 billion rubles. “City residents, especially those who have children, show great interest in moving to their own home in the countryside. And this category of clients need services that allow them to navigate in a new, unusual environment for them. Therefore, we have created a platform for the development of rural areas "Own Village". It is gaining popularity - already more than 1 million users. Here you can not only choose a house or plot, but also calculate the cost of construction work. You can also immediately apply for a mortgage and choose a suitable house project from accredited contractors (out of more than 1,500 options),” said Boris Listov, Chairman of the Board of Rosselkhozbank.

In 2022, a rural mortgage can be taken either for individual housing construction (IHS), or for the purchase of a ready-made country house with a plot. At the same time, if a house with a plot is purchased from an individual, then the object must not be older than 5 years. In the case of a purchase from a legal entity, this period should not exceed 3 years.

An application for a rural mortgage at the RSHB at a rate of 3% can be submitted by any resident of the country aged 21 to 75 years. The amount of a loan issued for a period of up to 25 years in Tatarstan is from 100 thousand to 3 million rubles. The initial payment starts from 10%. To purchase more expensive housing, each of the spouses can take a rural mortgage, doubling the total loan amount. In this case, the house must be acquired on the basis of common joint ownership under one contract of sale, indicating both spouses as buyers.
