Theory and practice: AGROVOLGA 2022 will unite them both
From July 6 to 8, farmers from all over Russia will meet at the AGROVOLGA exhibition to get acquainted with the latest achievements of the agro-industrial complex, as well as discuss topical issues in the development of the industry. In 2022, the business program will be held in an updated format and integrated as much as possible into the exposition and atmosphere of the exhibition, and will also be accompanied by practical workshops and demonstrations.
On the first day of the exhibition, an expanded meeting of the Board of the Union of Milk Producers of Tatarstan, as well as a Congress of manufacturers of chemical plant protection products will be held. A round table is also planned on the topic “Introduction of Lean Production elements in the machine and tractor fleet of agricultural formations”.
On other days, sponsors of the exhibition will also hold business events, for example, August-Agro will share its experience in developing an agricultural project in Tatarstan, experts from the Center for Agricultural Chemistry will talk about the technologies and results of introducing anhydrous ammonia. PhosAgro specialists at their business event will talk about the mineral nutrition of winter crops, give recommendations on rapeseed nutrition and other topical feeding issues.
A unique block in the business program will be the fair of scientific and practical projects of the agro-industrial complex. It will present scientific and practical projects (agricultural, veterinary) that meet modern challenges and are ready for implementation on farms. A Science Slam platform will be created for young scientists, where students and graduate students will take part in an unusual “battle” format. Science Slam is an international science popularization project where scientists present their research to a wide audience in an informal atmosphere. Each speaker has 10 minutes, during which he talks in an interesting and original way about his research and scientific achievements.
The topic of science will be completed by the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference, where scientists will traditionally discuss issues of food security.
For the first time, part of the business events that touch on the most important topic of animal husbandry will be held right at the competition arena for cattle during the competition. For example, the sponsor of the livestock competition, WWS Russia, will talk about the factors that cause mastitis and the available WWS diagnostic tools.
You can learn how to grow soybeans with a profitability of 150% at the conference of the Soy Union on July 7, and the final event of the program will be the Pole.RF expert session on the topic “Digital sales channels for the agro-industrial complex: what are the benefits for farmers and producers”.
Theory and practice are closely interrelated and cannot exist without each other. Therefore, all days of the exhibition, the business program will be accompanied by practical master classes. For example, in the competition arena for cattle, the judge of the livestock competition will conduct a master class on evaluating animals. At their plot, PhosAgro experts will demonstrate modern agronomic tools in action, talk about their features and teach them how to use them effectively. Representatives of the TatNIIAHP FRC KazSC RAS will talk about practical ways to determine the properties of the soil and determine the number of microorganisms in the soil.
