The trade union committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a trip to the Zelenodolsk district for employees of the ministry
On June 18, as part of the events on the topic “Know your native land”, specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Zelenodolsk region.
The tour around the region began with a visit to Yagodnaya Dolina LLC, one of the first and largest farms in the Republic of Tatarstan for growing high-quality strawberries and planting material for fruit and berry plants.
Director Sitdikov Ildar spoke in detail about the technology of growing strawberries, and also conducted a tour of the territory of the farm, during which employees of the department visited strawberry and lettuce fields, a fruit storage, a pond and a greenhouse. Berry crops occupy more than 30 hectares.
The next object was the museum of nature and the arboretum of the Volga-Kama State Natural Biosphere Reserve. In the museum of nature, specialists of the ministry learned a lot about the diversity of flora and fauna of our republic.
At the end of the trip around the Zelenodolsk district, employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food visited a deer farm, where they are engaged in the conservation and increase in the population of a noble species of maral deer. Currently, about 100 deers live here, on the territory of 54 hectares, as well as wild ducks, eagles, rabbits, roe deer and other species of wild animals.
