Three best graduates of the second stream of the educational project "Farmer's School" in Tatarstan were awarded today with certificates for receiving a farmer's grant. The project is being implemented by Rosselkhozbank together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan State Agrarian University. 40 students were trained at the School in four areas - "Cattle breeding", "Poultry breeding", "Horse breeding", "Crop breeding".
Following the decision of the expert commission, three business projects presented by the graduates of the Farmer's School were recognized as the best. One of the grant recipients, Rustam Gubaidullin, intends to open a dairy farm for 100 heads in his native Agryz region, Oksana Posadskaya, who also received a grant, plans to grow nuts in Drozhzhanovsky region, and Shamil Amagomedov successfully presented a business plan for an investment project in horse breeding.
Certificates for grants were presented by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Fattakhov, director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank Lyalya Kudermetova and vice-rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Nail Khamidullin.
Thanks to the Farmer's School, agricultural producers improved their financial literacy, studied the legal aspects of doing business, got acquainted with the features of accounting and reporting, learned how to certify products, and also learned the basics of effective sales and learned more about the foreign experience of farmers. In addition, students learned how to use digital tools for doing agribusiness, including the Rosselkhozbank’s marketplace Svoe Rodnoe and the Svoe Fermerstvo ecosystem.
