The 22nd Congress of the Association of Farmers, Farmsteads and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of Tatarstan was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The congress was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, President of the Association of Farmers, Farmsteads and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamiyar Baitemirov, Chairman of the Association "Council of Municipalities" Exam Gubaidullin.
Farms are currently the most dynamic sector of the agro-industrial complex of the republic, annually increasing their share in the production of the most important types of agricultural products, including grain, milk, meat, vegetables, contributing to the creation of new jobs in rural areas. Over the previous year, small businesses produced gross output worth 122 billion rubles, including 24 billion rubles for peasant farms.
The agenda includes a report of Kamiyar Baitemirov on the work done for 2021, tasks for 2022.
"Today, peasant farms, agricultural consumer cooperatives are faced with the task of not only increasing the number of products produced, but also achieving greater profitability from their activities. Thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, farmers of our republic can do this. Tatarstan is successfully implementing more than 20 state programs, including a program to support small and medium-sized businesses, a program to support peasant farmsteads and private household plots.State support for small businesses in 2021 amounted to 1 billion 252 million rubles.In 2022, this amount will already be 1 billion 337 million 500 thousand rubles," said Kamiyar Baitemirov.
Peasant farms of the republic, on equal terms with large agricultural producers, use subsidies for technical and technological modernization.
"Small forms of farming for us is a big "pool", a large area that covers both crop production and animal husbandry. Farmers work to save rural areas. We carry out a huge number of programs to improve rural areas - we carry out repairs, construction, make roads, social facilities ", - said Marat Zyabbarov.
The Minister also stressed the particular importance of the digital modernization of farms.
"In order to keep up with the times, you need to learn, master new technologies. In order to make learning faster, we create training programs. Everyone needs to learn that agriculture is now moving away from paper, all documents are being converted into electronic form," concluded Marat Zyabbarov.
