Rosselkhozbank increased lending to farmers
One of the central events of the congress was the speech of Boris Listov, Chairman of the Board of Rosselkhozbank. In 2021, the RSHB provided loans to farmers for 102 billion rubles, which is 40% more than a year earlier. He stressed that wishes of farmers are the basis for finalizing the product line and services of the Bank.
The head of the RSHB noted that the bank is purposefully developing and implementing a set of measures and tools that are designed to make the work of farmers more efficient and the resources they need more accessible.
“The task is to ensure that farmers have not only the minimum necessary, but also the maximum possible. Large agricultural complexes have their own research centers and IT departments that follow new trends. Farmers do not have such infrastructure. Therefore, the bank took over the solution of this problem. Our digital platforms Svoe Fermerstvo, Svoe Rodnoe, “I am in Agro” make it possible to significantly simplify the processes of procurement, supply, market entry, selection and training of specialists,” added Boris Listov.
However, any technology is meaningless if there are no specialists who know how to handle it. For this purpose, the "School of the Farmer" was opened, where they teach everything that is necessary to start and develop agribusiness. Last year, the Farmer's School opened in 50 regions and trained nearly 2,000 specialists. This year, the Farmer's School will cover almost all subjects of the Russian Federation and will become an All-Russian educational project. In addition, the bank supports the most talented students of agricultural universities with special scholarships.
