Kazan discovered who is the strongest in the village
This weekend, the grand opening of the final of the All-Russian championship in power extreme "The Strongest in the Village" took place, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Russian University of Cooperation. The opening ceremony was attended by the Director of the Department of Development of Rural Areas of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ksenia Shevelkina, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and others.
The project is being implemented within the federal program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas". The tournament helps to attract the attention of the rural population to physical culture and sports, to improve the health of the villagers.
The event pleased us with a rich sports net. Athletes competed in lifting shells and bags with weights, tilting tires, manually towing agricultural machinery, and much more.
This is the first competition of this kind in Russia, and its final was held in Kazan at the Boxing and Table Tennis Center.

Men (90 kg): Valentin Nikolaev (Chuvashia)
Women (70 kg): Alena Maskaeva (Mordovia)
