The Kazan Hippodrome hosted horse races dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan
Today, on August 30, the Republic Day, traditional horse races were held on the territory of the Kazan International Equestrian Sports Complex with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, also became a guest at the ICSC "Kazan". He was met by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
Many interesting venues were organized for Kazan residents and guests of the capital: horse riding on the territory of the racetrack, an orchestra, "living statues", mimic actors, a zone for photographing and more in the lobby of the complex. A special corner was equipped for children, where animators made crafts from balloons and put makeup on their faces. The program of the holiday was diverse, but the focus of the audience was, of course, on horse racing.
A total of 14 races were held. The total prize fund exceeded 8 million rubles. The highlight of the event was the race for the Prize, timed to the 70th anniversary of the birth of the First President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat Haji Kadyrov at a distance of 2400 meters. Great Winner won here under the management of H. Sh. Ulubayev.
The great interest of the audience was aroused by the races for the cup of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the Breisen Zip won, the jockey - Mirozobek Kapushev.
The culmination of the holiday was the horse race for the main cup - the Prize of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. The prize fund of this race was 3 million rubles. At the distance of 2400 meters, Bernardino Charm came first with the rider Stanislav Goncharov.
