Fairs with reduced prices for products from the "borsch set" continue functioning in Tatarstan
The "borsch set" has become more accessible. Since July 24, agricultural fairs have been held in Kazan, there you can buy the main vegetable basket at wholesale prices. The decision to organize Saturday fairs was made by the leadership of the republic to stabilize and reduce the cost of vegetables included in the "borsch set".
What vegetables are included in this list? Potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage and beets. Last week, 6.5 tons of potatoes, more than 8.6 tons of cabbage, more than 3.5 tons of carrots, 5.2 tons of onions, more than 3.5 tons of beets and 6 tons of tomatoes were delivered to the residents of the city. Onions and beets were sold at a price of 15 rubles, potatoes - 20 rubles, carrots and cabbage for 30 rubles per kilogram, tomatoes for 25 rubles per kilogram.
It is also profitable for agricultural enterprises to participate in the project - the authorities have released sellers from rent, cleaning and a number of other expenses.
The addresses where the fairs are held are the following: the intersection of Belomorskaya and Gudovantseva streets, Lipatov Street 7, Fuchik Street 72, Akademician Lavrentiev Street and Dementieva Street 7.
In September, after the harvest, traditional agricultural fairs will start in Tatarstan. It is planned that the trade will be conducted at 15 sites.
