Within the framework of the summit "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021", a plenary session on economic growth was held in the Republic of Tatarstan
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov spoke at the plenary session of the VII Machine-Building Cluster Forum. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, the State Minister for Foreign Trade of the UAE Thani bin Ahmed Al Zayyudi, representatives of leading engineering companies.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the machine-building cluster forum has established itself as a successful platform for building cooperative relations and exchanging experience between enterprises of the real sector of the economy.
Today, the necessary conditions have been created in the republic for the successful development of industrial enterprises. A wide range of state support measures has been developed, there are territories of advanced socio-economic development, and industrial parks.
Maxim Reshetnikov, in turn, noted that the Russian economy is returning to a docklike position. Economic growth is taking place in an overwhelming number of areas: processing, construction, agriculture and others.
- The current situation inspires. It is important that domestic demand is recovering, investment and export, also have positive dynamics. Today, we face more strategic tasks: it is important for us that the economy starts sustainable growth, " the minister said.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the challenges faced by the industry in the era of digitalization, and also considered the most relevant digital services. Among the priorities, the minister outlined the accelerated development of digital technologies, as well as the transition to a low-carbon economy.
