Marat Zyabbarov: 1.6 million hectares of grain and legumes will be harvested in the fields of Tatarstan, 3390 combine harvesters will participate in the work
In the Republic of Tatarstan, a number of farms have already started harvesting winter grain crops. In the republic, the first 5.3 thousand hectares have been threshed so far, the yield is 20.2 c./ha. This was announced today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
The President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, held a videoconference with all municipal districts. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan recalled that the situation regarding the provision of moisture in the meter-long soil layer remains unsatisfactory. In some areas, the moisture reserves of the arable soil layer are less than 10 mm of productive moisture.
The hydrometeorological Center confirmed the onset of a dangerous phenomenon (dry weather) in three more districts: Alekseevsky, Buinsky, Mamadyshsky.
Specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor are monitoring grain moisture. In this weather, up to 3% of moisture is lost every day instead of 1-1. 5 %. Accordingly, in the coming days, the republic will massively start harvesting the winter wedge. A number of farms have already selectively started harvesting winter crops - so far the first 5.3 thousand hectares have been threshed (yield 20.2 c. / ha).
"Although the gross grain harvest is expected to be modest, harvesting operations will not be easy," said Marat Zyabbarov. - In the fields of spring crops, where the rains have passed, there may be a fitting and will complicate the cleaning. There are many fields with very low straw. The grain of the current year is small and puny."
The Minister reported on the current situation on forage harvesting. The cleaning of the first mowing of perennial grasses is almost complete. 274 thousand tons of hay and more than 1 million 240 thousand tons of haylage were harvested, this is 9.4 tons of feed units per 1 conditional head (last year, 15.5 tons of feed units were harvested on this date).
Bugulminsky, Aksubayevsky and Laishevsky districts have already prepared more than half of the demand. At the same time, 16 districts lag behind the national average in terms of forage harvesting rates.
Aksubayevsky, Sarmanovsky, Nurlatsky, Mamadyshsky districts started harvesting feed from the second mowing.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan has organized work on harvesting and purchasing hay, haylage and grain in neighboring regions.
Rural settlements of the republic are also actively harvesting feed. The balance of coarse feed is 92% compared to last year. Mechanized forage harvesting detachments are working in municipal districts.
This year, 1.6 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops will be harvested. There are 3390 combine harvesters for this purpose. The load on one combine harvester in the republic is about 520 hectares. In a number of farms, it exceeds 1 thousand hectares.
This year, farms have purchased 170 combine harvesters, which will provide additional opportunities for high-quality and timely harvesting.
Today, the readiness of harvesting equipment in the republic is 92%. There are 10 mechanized teams specializing in grain harvesting in the republic.
