346 companies are registered in the Honest Sign system, including 65 manufacturers from Tatarstan. The top 5 manufacturers by the number of marking codes put into circulation included "Chelny Cold", "Clean Line", "Real Ice Cream Factory", "Valio", "Hohland Rusland".
"Manufacturers of the republic continue to prepare for mandatory labeling. At the moment, 48 out of 83 companies and 17 out of 97 individual entrepreneurs have joined the labeling system. To date, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation have instructed the subjects of the Russian Federation to ensure the registration of all participants in the turnover by July 1, and to provide manufacturers with the necessary equipment for labeling by August 1. Labeling will increase the competitiveness of local producers both in the region and abroad. In total, 3,562 companies have joined the labeling of dairy products in the Volga Federal District. Manufacturers, importers, wholesale and retail organizations are registered in the system.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that from September 1, the second stage of labeling for dairy products with a shelf life of more than 40 days will begin, and from December 1 - for goods with a shelf life of less than 40 days. Withdrawal of dairy products with an expiration date of less than 40 days through the cash register will occur in January 2022, with an expiration date of more than 40 days – in the summer of 2022. Starting from September 1, 2022, volume and grade accounting will be introduced. Labeling will become mandatory for farmers from December 1, 2022. The single-instance accounting of dairy products will be introduced from December 1, 2023.
